This project involved the complete replacement of an existing flat roof, with a focus on improving its durability, weather resistance and overall finish. The existing roofing materials were carefully removed, allowing the roof deck to be inspected and properly prepared for the new system.

New plywood decking was installed where required, followed by a high-quality torch-applied roofing membrane. Particular attention was given to the application and sealing of the membrane, ensuring secure joints and reliable protection against water ingress.

The work included repairing damaged mortar and render, restoring deteriorated areas, and ensuring the chimney structure was properly sealed against the elements. The chimney pots were carefully retained, with attention to the existing brickwork and surrounding roof details.

ROOF REPAIR

Roof Membrane & Batten Replacement

As part of this roof refurbishment project, the existing roof tiles were carefully removed to allow the damaged and worn roof membrane and timber battens to be replaced. A new high-quality breathable membrane and treated timber battens were installed, providing improved weather protection, ventilation, and a secure fixing system for the roof tiles.
